A Grand Day for Journalism at Ferrum College

My foray into Franklin County to work with two journalism classes and a lunchtime talk about my new novel, NEWS!, was rewarding on several levels today.

I sold a bunch of books ("NEWS!", "CLOG!" and "Burning the Furniture") met some splendid people, and found out a lot more than I knew about a fine little liberal arts college less than an hour from Roanoke.

The talk to Dave Campbell's journalism classes and the discussion moderated by English teacher Lana Whited at the lunch hour were stimulating and rewarding. Thank you, lovely people, for the invitation and the hospitality.
