Another Glorious Spring Day Before Spring
Yesterday was bone-chilling. Tomorrow we may get snow. Today was ... well ... just about as good as an early March day could be. And this isn't just a weather forecast. It has to do with the company, as well.
My friend Linsee Lewis--an actor I have admired for some time--and I took a break from working today and went up to Roaring Run for a picnic and some photography. It was simply a glorious day and I got caught up in shooting my bud's portrait, almost to the exclusion of nature's offering.
Linsee has an affinity for the lens and it shows here.
Next month, she will be busy directing a play at Attic Productions in Fincastle. I'll be in the front row. She is not only a talented actress (her one-woman show at Star City Playhouse a couple of years ago still resonates with me) but also is competent in just about all aspects of theatre.
